Visit california outlook forum
In February, our team attended Visit California's Outlook Forum in San Francisco, and we were honored that our Executive Director Tonya Dowse was invited to speak on a main stage panel about building community alliances that work. Tonya told the audience about how our tourism team pivoted during COVID to help tourism/hospitality small businesses apply for emergency aid and navigate new rules and regulations, as well as how our team works with local stakeholders to create strong partnerships and stimulate economic growth for our region. It was an honor to share the stage with the President/CEO of San Francisco Travel Joe D'Alessandro and Derek Kirk of the Governor's Office of Business & Economic Development (GO-BIZ)!
