Mt. Shasta Ski Park Season Stokefest + Yreka Night of Lights

Discover Siskiyou worked with the Mt. Shasta Ski Park as well as the City of Yreka on two very successful December events: the Mt. Shasta Ski Park Season Stokefest and the City of Yreka’s Night of Lights. Discover Siskiyou is making an investment in quality local events that add value to the visitor experience, drive room nights and repeat visits, and bolster sales for local businesses. Event organizers planning events for January - June 2023 are encouraged to apply for an event marketing award.

Hotel Lobby Loop Video

You can view a 90-second silent loop video we put together highlighting places to see in Siskiyou. We created the video as a tool for lodging properties to show in their lobbies/dining areas in order to highlight all of the things to see and do in Siskiyou to encourage extended and/or repeat visits. 10 Event Marketing Awards Available through June 2023

Application Window Opens Jan. 1

From Jan 1 - June 30 2023, Discover Siskiyou will fund 10 event marketing awards in the amount of $3,000 to local entities hosting events in Siskiyou. These awards may be used to book talent (musicians, guest speakers, workshop leaders, etc.) as well as marketing and advertising expenses including but not limited to posters and mailers, social media ads and influencers, display ads, and media buys. Awards may not be used for “hard” costs such as facility rentals, labor, insurance, or general operating expenses.

  • Dunsmuir Steampunk Festival

  • McCloud Apple Festival

  • Jefferson State Flixx Festival
